My To-Own Book List

So I recently went on book depository to look at all the books I can't afford. Terrible decision. I found so many books that want and hopefully will buy soon, so yeah here they are. Hope you enjoy.

Tower of Dawn by Sarah J Maas

If you don't know that yet, I absolutely love Sarah J Maas's work. I would sell my soul for her to keep writing. JK. But seriously this book was just released today and I can't wait to own it. It's is the 6th book in the "Throne of Glass" series which I absolutely recommend.

Daughter of the Burning City by Amanda Foody

Even among the many unusual members of the travelling circus that has always been her home sixteen-yea-old Sorina stands apart as the only illusion-worker born in hundreds of years. This rare talent allows her to create illusions that others can see, feel and touch, with personalities all of their own. Her creations are her family, and together they make up the cast of the Festival's Freak Show. But no matter how lifelike they may seem, her illusions are still just that-illusions, and not truly real. Or so she always believed...until one of them is murdered. Now she must unravel the horrifying truth before all her loved ones disappear. So I really love the idea of this book. And the cover is absolutely gorgeous. Can't wait to read it.

Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor

Let's be honest here, I don't even know what the book talks about but i heard so many good reviews so I am really excited to get it.

Caraval by Stephanie Garber

Welcome to Caraval, where nothing is quite what it seems. Scarlett has never left the tiny isle of Trisda, pining from afar for the wonder of Caraval, a once-a-year week-long performance where the audience participates in the show.Caraval is Magic. Mystery. Adventure. And for Scarlett and her beloved sister Tella it represents freedom and an escape from their ruthless, abusive father. When the sisters' long-awaited invitations to Caraval finally arrive, it seems their dreams have come true. But no sooner have they arrived than Tella vanishes, kidnapped by the show's mastermind organiser, Legend. Scarlett has been told that everything that happens during Caraval is only an elaborate performance. But nonetheless she quickly becomes enmeshed in a dangerous game of love, magic and heartbreak. And real or not, she must find Tella before the game is over, and her sister disappears forever. So Caraval actually kinda reminds me of "Daughter of the Burning City" but hey I haven't read either so who knows

Wonder Woman: Warbringer by Leigh Bardugo

I am a huge fan of wonder woman, so I really wanna get my hands on this book.

Because You Love to Hate Me edited by Ameriie

So this book is basically 13 stories about villains written by 13 famous authors and 13 booktubers. I am really interested in villains and evil characters in general so I'm definitely getting this book.

Geekerella by Ashley Poston

Also, no idea what the book is about. I just heard it is really good.

The Hearts We Sold by Emily Lloyd-Jones

Dee Moreno is out of options. Her home life sucks (to put it mildly), and she's about to get booted from her boarding school--the only place she's ever felt free--for lack of funds. But this is a world where demons exist, and the demons are there to make deals: one human body part in exchange for one wish come true. When Dee finally summons the courage to make a deal with one of these devils, she finds it may be more than she bargained for. The demon she approaches quickly informs her that he doesn't trade in the usual appendages, he's only interested in her heart. He'll put her body in a kind of stasis for two years, and she'll become part of his crew of "heartless"--teen soldiers sent to the demons' home world to fight their enemies. All of the heartless have their reasons for making this deal, but it begs the question: what are you willing to give up to achieve your heart's desire?A Faustian blend of sci-fi and paranormal horror, The Hearts We Sold is thrilling adventure with a romantic twist that will steal readers' hearts and then break them. Here is another book with a really great plot but a terrible cover. Can't to read it tho.

Wicked Like a Wildfire by Lana Popovic

All the women in Iris and Malina's family have the unique magical ability or "gleam" to manipulate beauty. Iris sees flowers as fractals and turns her kaleidoscope visions into glasswork, while Malina interprets moods as music. But their mother has strict rules to keep their gifts a secret, even in their secluded sea-side town. Iris and Malina are not allowed to share their magic with anyone, and above all, they are forbidden from falling in love. But when their mother is mysteriously attacked, the sisters will have to unearth the truth behind the quiet lives their mother has built for them. They will discover a wicked curse that haunts their family line-but will they find that the very magic that bonds them together is destined to tear them apart forever?Wicked Like a Wildfire is the first in a two-book series. Readers will be rapt with anticipation for the sequel. I really love the idea, the plot and the cover. Good job Lana. Can't Wait to get it.
