I, as a huge reader, am a fan of contemporary books as well as fantasy. But for today, I'll talk about my picks for romance new/young adult novels...

Anna and the French Kiss

It is a contemporary young adult book by Stephanie Perkins. It is about a girl who is sent to a boarding school in Paris. She hates it at first until she starts being attracted to the handsome Etienne St Clair. This book is followed by two other books, Lola and the boy next door and Isla and the happily ever after. Although they are in a series they are not related. I have read Isla tho, and it is all so beautifully written you can't help but fall in love with it.

To All the Boys I've loved before

This is one of my favorite books ever by the amazing, Jenny Han. It is the first book of a contemporary young adult trilogy but if you're not a fan of series, it can also serve as a stand alone. It is about a girl called Lara Jean who wrote a secret love letter to every boy she had a crush on but never sends them. One day, the letters are mysteriously sent to the boys and she has to face them and confront her feelings. It is also being made into a movie and I can't be more excited.

The Selection Series

This one can't really be refered to as contemporary. Although it doesn't have magic or mythical creatures or stuff of thatsort, it is still set in the future. It is about a girl called America singer who is in the low class of a the kingdom which is futuristic USA. For her mother and family, she applied to the selection where a group of girls from all over the kingdom get to be randomly selected to live in the castle and the crown prince gets to choose one to be his wife in the end. They are five books by Kiera Cass, they are very short tho so I ate them all in two days. But you can still stop at three considering that the other two aren't set around the main characters of the first three books.

The Siren

And another book by the amazing Kiera Cass. This one is actually fantasy. Briefly, it is about a siren who falls in love with a human. But who will she choose, her lover or the ocean? This is also one of the books that i finished in one sitting and absolutely adore.

Girl Online Series

This is a trilogy written by Zoe Sugg, aka Zoella on youtube. It is about a girl who is from brighton and loves photography, but then she goes to New York for her mother's work and there she sees Brooklyn Boy and she falls in love. But soon discovers who he really is. This was also a light read, but as a bookworm I didn't think it was that well written but that doesn't mean I didn't read the whole series and have them now displayed on my shelf.

If I Stay

I'm not going to even talk about this book because I absolutely hate it. The second book, Where She Went was bad as well in my opinion. They are written by Gayle Forman and I just don't like her writing style but maybe I can give her another shot sometime. The movie was decent tho.

This Lullaby

I'll be honest with you. I heard Sarah Dessen is a really good author. But I have only read this book and it didn't stick out to me. I don't remember much about the plot but i remember that it made me feel happy and that's honestly the most important thing for me. So i actually reccomend it. I would also like to hear suggestions of other Dessen books i should read.

All the Bright Places

So my friends have bugged me for so long to read this book and now I get why. Jennifer Niven did a really great job with this book. The reason I liked the book is mostly because i saw myself as Finch. we are like the same person. The same thoughts, the same way of acting, the same problems. And in the end I knew how easy it is for me to be the same. I really think everybody should read this and have a box of tissues on the side.

My True Love Gave to Me

These are twelve different winter romances by twelve very famous and successful authors. I enjoyed this book very much and honestly I would read it again and again. Some of the stories are fantasy. Some are contemporary. But they all have the element of winter on common. So sit back, open your curtains, set a fire and read this book while watching the snow and enjoying a cup of hot chocolate.

Everything Everything

Nicola Yoon is one fantastic writer and I can't wait to get my hands on The Sun is Also a Star. This book is about a girl who has a deadly disease and would possibly die if she leaves the house. But then a really hot boy moves in next door and he just changes her life forever.

Colleen Hoover Books

If I spent the rest of my life talking about how much I love this woman and her books it probably won't be enough. I'll write an article about her books specifically so stay tuned for that.

That's all for today. Hope you enjoyed. Don't forget to follow my bookstagram.
